Toyota Yaris mit neuer Technologie
Toyota hat zum Modelljahr 2009 den europäischen Bestseller Yaris gründlich überarbeitet. Der sparsame Toyota Yaris emittiert nun mehr als 120 Gramm CO2 je Kilometer. Ursächlich für die teilweise erhebliche Verbrauchssenkung von bis zu 21 Gramm CO2 oder 0,9 Liter/100 km ist die konsequente Anwendung des neuen Toyota Optimal Drive-Konzeptes. Das ist ein Oberbegriff, den Toyota für innovative Antriebe, effiziente Motoren und neue Technologien zur Verringerung von Verbrauch und Emission verwenden. Im Toyota Yaris kommt ein völlig neuer 1,33-Liter Dual VVT-i Benzinmotor mit fortschrittlicher Start-Stopp-Automatik zum Einsatz. Der neue Vierzylinder-Motor verfügt über die intelligente variable Ventilsteuerung Dual VVT-i und entwickelt eine Leistung von 74 kW/101 PS. Der Toyota Yaris hat einen Durchschnittsverbrauch von 5,1 Liter auf 100 Kilometer.
